Welcome to TechSoup
|
Founded in 1987 as CompuMentor, TechSoup has been dedicated to helping nonprofits enhance productivity and build sustainable technology systems that foster their missions.
Over the past 21 years, we have developed innovative programs with international reach. One of the best known is our nonprofit technology website TechSoup.org, which serves about 400,000 unique monthly users from over 190 countries. In addition to providing educational resources and a vibrant online community, TechSoup partners with 35 major technology providers (as of May 2008), including Microsoft, Cisco, Symantec, Intuit, and Adobe to advance the nonprofit sector through product donations to NGOs worldwide. As of May 2008, TechSoup has enabled nonprofit donation recipients to save over $1 billion in IT expenses.
TechSoup is an organization with a staff of over 160 dedicated folks. We continue to expand our reach at the local, national and international level to help the 1.6 million U.S. nonprofits and the more than 10 million non-governmental organizations in other countries who lack the knowledge and resources to locate, afford, and implement the technology products they need to better fulfill their missions.
We are in the process of updating this Web site. You can find an overview of our current programs here or visit our flagship website TechSoup.org and the TechSoup Stock product donation program directly.
